FETE DE GLACE

Right now the weather looks good for the event. A few images from my 2010 visit are below:

Fete de Glace (The Festival of Ice) is an outdoor ice-carving competition where skilled carvers from around the region turn blocks of ice into amazing creations while spectators watch the ice chips fly. Coffee, hot chocolate, and fire pits are available to keep everybody warm.
